Mark is the founder of Remarkable Mortgage. He has been in the Mortgage business for more than 11 years.

From the beginning of his mortgage career his goal was to do Reverse Mortgages. He started Remarkable Mortgage, so he can devote his time, attention and talents to serving the Senior community of Colorado. And yes, Mark also does traditional or forward mortgages.

Mark has been married for almost 32 years, he and his wife have three 20 something children. Mark is also a writer and musician. His favorite Colorado pass times are; riding his Harley Davidson Road King through the Rocky Mountains, and moving dirt with his John Deere tractor.

Marc Cave

Senior Reverse Mortgage Broker

Marc is a retired engineer who decided to start an encore career as a Reverse Mortgage specialist.

Marc is a friend and neighbor of Mark Schmidt, one day over lunch it was decided that Mr. Cave would join the company and add his unique wisdom and talents to serving the senior community of Colorado.

Marc has been married for a few more than 40 years. They have two children and some outstanding grandchildren.

Marc is man of many talents and interests. He rides Harleys, he travels, and as it was mentioned before, he’s a grandpa. Marc is a man of incredible character who has a deep commitment to helping people understand and decide if a Reverse Mortgage is right for them.

Rick Martin

Reverse & Forward Mortgage Broker

Rick is a man of many talents. As well as being a Reverse & Forward mortgage originator, Rick is a CPA and financial specialist.

His education as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a Masters in Accounting from Regis University brings a wealth of knowledge to our team.

Rick graduated from the University of Colorado at Denver, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and a minor in Economics.

Rick enjoys the outdoors in Colorado from mountain biking and hiking 14ers in the summer to snowshoeing and snowboarding in the winters.

His Christian values have brought many years of service to the community. Most importantly, spending quality time with his beautiful wife and three young children.

Kathy Smith

Senior Mortgage processor
